Morrisons steak pie, 60p

[Morrisons steak pie] A good pub pie, according to our staff, who were wilting slightly and expanding of girth by the time we got to this one.

No refinement, but not bad, was the verdict. Very good gravy and "lush" pastry (presumably in the sense of 'very good' rather than 'verdant' or 'minging old wino') disguised the fact that the meat was just about ok. For 60p, you could do a lot worse.
