We're here!
Well, the big news of the day is that there's a website here, and five minutes ago there wasn't. You've got to admit, on the scale of big deals in the history of a website it scores pretty high. So welcome, one and all, to pie-man.com.
It's not all working yet, so sometimes you'll see our 'work in progress' page instead of the tasty morsel you were after, but if you bear with us on that score we'll make it worth your while, we promise. There'll be reviews, recipes, news and all manner of items of delight and wonderment to pie lovers. And most importantly, of course, there'll be some rather splendidly pastry-oriented t-shirts for you to buy.
We've put our contact details at the bottom of every page, in case as the site progresses you are suddenly possessed by the need to tell us something. Whether it's some pie-based muse that has overcome you, some fact about filling or point on pastry that you want to pass on, or something you think we've missed, let us know.
We might stop covering your debate on cottage vs shepherd's once it degenerates into mash-spattered violence, and I'm not convinced pie-related erotic poetry has a place here either, but pretty much anything else remotely concerning pies will get us interested.
(Actually, I take that last sentence back. Anyone who cares that much about pie deserves honour and respect. Albeit maybe from a safe distance.)
